In our family has always been farmers; our great-grandparents came to Quartesana in the early years of the 900 settles in the land that still grow.
The stable-barn where they derived the premises of the farm dates back to at least the '700 as it is already drawn on the maps cadastre of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1770 and has been restored to its original form.
These old snapshots of the 70 testify to the age and also the urgent need for significant earthworks.
During the restoration it was decided to enhance the energy efficiency, using the sun for light and heat, clean and favoring the thermal and acoustic insulation in order to create a comfortable and quiet but always embedded in the rural context.
If you decide to try our hospitality can choose between rooms with original furnishings of the early '900 (the furniture of our family restored for the occasion) or alternatively, updated furniture in the old style.
The rooms are all generously sized doubles, with large bathrooms and with the possibility of an extra bed if it were to serve.
The ceilings have large wooden beams exposed and are made with traditional accommodation barns Ferrara. The walls which separate their rooms have been soundproofed to the highest level of comfort and privacy.
Particular attention has been used for the removal of architectural barriers in order to best accommodate disabled guests; ranging from the removal of the steps to the access ramps and services specifically dedicated.
Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a TV and a hire
safety are available in each room.
